remarkable, the best one of the three films

Posted : 13 years, 10 months ago on 22 June 2010 02:05 (A review of Toy Story 3)

Deeply touching..
one of the best animated movies I've ever seen.
made me cry for first time in a theater..
growing up and letting your childhood behind its quite difficult
but we always will have a child inside
10 stars out of 10!

Million Dollar Baby review

Posted : 13 years, 11 months ago on 7 May 2010 12:31 (A review of Million Dollar Baby)

it is not a master piece, but it makes you FEEL.

is a feeling that cannot be described, I felt something really disturbing watching this, lovely but disturbing.. It's a film created with so much heart that really makes you feel human.

the movie its about life, even you see it that the plot its about a 'Moral death' or the respect of life, but indeed, the movie threats how you should live your life, and the way you should respect your dreams.

I really do not enjoy boxing but it was good for me in a weird way, anyway, the thing is, death is only a chapter.

The coolest hero

Posted : 13 years, 12 months ago on 5 May 2010 12:39 (A review of Iron Man)

What's more desire by humans than a millionaire, womanizer, handsome, good tasteful & celebrity ? & in addition has a gold-titanium suit more powerful than anything?
COME ON! this is the coolest superhero ever..

The character has a unbelievable personality and has the courage to make it responsible of the hero life. The first Iron Man movie its a great film in several ways, the screenplay its quite fit to the public, also, the visual effects, the suits, the technology developments are incredible unbelievable, the futuristic laboratory of Stark it's a dream

i enjoy so much this movie, Downey made a great job, but the most impressive thing of the movie its all the art, visual & effects work.

8.5/10

Be yourself.

Posted : 14 years ago on 29 April 2010 03:47 (A review of Being John Malkovich)

Wow, if I were a film producer and some guy came to me with this screenplay i probably would ask him if he's on crack!
I fell in love with this movie since the first puppet scene on the beginning.
this makes you think about a lot of philosophical questions & you can find that you have anything to proof that you never'll know if someone had been on your head?

you probably would say, "Bah! thats not possible" but I can reply you.."How are you sure?"

Give it a chance

Posted : 14 years ago on 26 April 2010 01:31 (A review of Dread)

there's a fact in horror movies is that when the deaths & blood are stupid incorrect or dumm the movie gone crap, but personally, Dread was a good horror movie, with a different air in the horror world; it has young actors and bring disturbing moments that you find quite sick.
give it a chance, ImdB is not always the final word about films, watch it and rate yourself.

It's a Fact.

Posted : 14 years ago on 26 April 2010 12:51 (A review of City of God)

Understand the social situation of a region is not quite easy job. Live around violence is a daily stage for countless people worldwide. Cidade de Deus is a true sample that violence in humanity is as common as McDonalds in the world. A sample of what in the slums they live, and how difficult it is to walk out of this world, not to mingle with criminals, nor get killed for not following the current.
This film chronicles the difficult situation experienced in the 60's and 70's in a small suburb of Rio de Janeiro; The rivers of violence and drug trafficking, drug abuse, vandalism and crime since the tender age of these boys.
is a film that has received a lot of honors worldwide, but also a window into the grim and sad situation for many young people in the world.

Just a room, a lot of faces..

Posted : 14 years ago on 25 April 2010 04:59 (A review of 12 Angry Men)

The film is an experience where the stories take us to unknown places and fantastic, or being a spectator of disturbing moments of extreme action, but this is not the case of 12 Angry Men, develops in a small room where there is not much movement but develops a plot that keeps you fully connected with the film, takes you to imagine a series of situations and makes you feel out of this small jury room. this movie is a gem for film history.

Bad choices can make you lost all your good job..

Posted : 14 years ago on 22 April 2010 02:24 (A review of Next)

This is a sample of the important of so many choices that production has to made to accomplish a real good film, first and most important: the Casting; This was really not a movie for Nic Cage as Starring. definitely was a really bad idea, with a better lead actor the movie will turns differently and better off course.
2nd, They had a TERRIFIC, splendid screenplay of a guy who could see his shortly future, but the way sometimes they played was awful.. it was poor. with a better creative team and a better team of art this movie would be a huge successful & its obviously that it wasn't.

things to rescue, mostly the flash times of cage when he see his future and make you feel that is going its a great way to get the people stoned.
Jessica Biel made great her work & the bombs, action effects was a really good job.

Troubled Water review

Posted : 14 years ago on 21 April 2010 01:39 (A review of Troubled Water)

"Something bad can bring something good"

Troubled Water is an excellent movie with a good script and story development in an order different from common chronic, besides being a strong enough drama takes a lot of mixed feelings toward life and death.

The Exorcist review

Posted : 14 years ago on 20 April 2010 02:17 (A review of The Exorcist)

This movie is a sign that a supernatural theme can be taken from a coherent point of view without turning fantasy, is a perfect balance that I think was one of the factors in the success of this movie.

furthermore, the co-relationship between religion, science and the situation is very good because it does not dull the film or tape becomes full religious

This is classified like an horror movie, but most than an horror movie, I think the exorcist gave rise to what would be the future of this genre to our times.
you maybe doesn't feel super scared but the concept of terror and development its pretty good and a real jewel for our film history.
